One reason for the Seattle Mariners' disappointing season has been the disappointing season of catcher Mike Zunino. Heading into his second full season in the majors, there was hope the power-hitting backstop would improve at the plate, at least to the point where he'd provide acceptable offense at the bottom of the order.
