Archie Bradley pitched six innings of one-run ball in Wednesday's win over the Rangers.
Bradley only allowed two hits, but a slew of early walks pumped up his pitch-count and prevented him from seeing the later innings. Things started off strangely for the pitcher. After recording two outs in the first inning, he walked a pair of batters, hit Shin-Soo Choo with a pitch to load the bases, then issued a free pass to Robinson Chirinos to force in a run. And that would be all the Rangers could manage against the youngster. While Bradley has not allowed more than two runs in any of his three starts, his control issues (he's walked 11 over 18 2/3 innings and threw just 49 of his 92 pitches for strikes on Wednesday) limit his current value in mixed leagues.
