The Washington Nationals looked like the team many expected they would be at the beginning of 2015: the kings of the NL East. They won five games this week behind incredible pitching performances and timely hitting. The Mets took a step back this week, but remain atop the division. Hey, everyone has a bad week, right? They lost five games this week, but three were one run deficits.
The Braves continue to linger around .500 and the Marlins are continuing to surge, still awaiting the return of their top two pitchers. The Phillies? Well, they are at least still playing baseball, but are fading fast.
