BOSTON -- Trevor Story had an RBI single in four at-bats in his first game for the Boston Red Sox since April 5.
Story's return Saturday against the Chicago White Sox came after he was activated from the 60-day injured list before the game. He had been sidelined with a shoulder injury that required surgery after attempting to make a diving stop on a ball against Anaheim on April 5.
Story started at shortstop and batted seventh against the White Sox. He struck out twice and grounded out in his other three at bats as Boston won, 7-5.
