Marlins signed LHP Travis Blackley to a minor league contract.
Blackley is making his return to American baseball after playing one year overseas. He went 1-2 with a 5.54 ERA in three starts for the Rakuten Golden Eagles of the Japan Pacific League. The 32-year-old last pitched in the majors with Texas in 2013. The Marlins haven't specified whether or not they view Blackley as a starter or reliever. He'll likely begin with Triple-A New Orleans and work his way up from there. May 2 - 10:12 PM
