Torres collects four hits - Gleyber Torres (SS) Chicago Cubs

Cubs prospect SS Gleyber Torres went 4-for-5 with a double and stolen base on Thursday for Low-A South Bend.

Torres has been on fire to begin his full-season debut, as the four-hit performance raised his batting line to .352/.446/.423 through 20 games. The 18-year-old also has four extra-base hits, seven steals and a 17/12 strikeout-to-walk ratio, and he’s now hit safely in four consecutive games. In 2014, Torres batted .297/.386/.440 with 16 extra-base hits and 10 stolen bases in 50 games between the Arizona and Northwest Leagues. Torres is years away from the major leagues but is a name to follow closely in dynasty leagues.
