Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona was in a pretty precarious position during Tuesday’s tilt against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field when he found himself relieving himself in the bathroom when he heard that center fielder Michael Bourn was being ejected from the game.
In fact, Francona freely admitted he suffered a bit of a bathroom mishap as the need to take care of bodily function interfered with his ability to race back to the field.
The crazy situation arose during the 4th inning of Cleveland’s 6-0 victory. After the Indians were retired in the top of the 4th, Francona attempted to utilize the between-innings break to take care of a little business in the clubhouse.
