Sean McAdam of CSN New England reports that Blake Swihart is expected to join the Red Sox on Saturday.
While Swihart is expected to be recalled, the Red Sox are said to still be exploring external options. According to McAdam though, former Red Sox catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia is not expected to be among those names being considered.
