SQ’s baseball staff will focus on the biggest reason for the outcome of each postseason game. Today, we focus on the Rangers’ Game 1 ALDS win.
The AL East champion Toronto Blue Jays acquired established studs David Price and Troy Tulowitzki not only to extend their contention during the regular season, but to produce in October. Instead, the Rangers overpowered, outsmarted and outfought the heavy World Series favorites, gaining a 5-3 win to take 1-0 ALDS lead.
