Sources: CBA talks continue, no lockout vote set

With a deadline to reach a new MLB labor agreement set for midnight, no lockout vote has been scheduled for Wednesday night. The league has told owners to be available, however, in case there's a vote on whether to lock out the players, to ratify a deal or for an update on where the two sides stand.

The sides have been negotiating almost continuously since early Tuesday, and are still talking Wednesday after little or no sleep. They've made significant progress but have yet to reach agreement on how a revised competitive balance tax, or luxury tax, would function.
