Joakim Soria notched his ninth save of the season Wednesday in the Tigers' defeat of the Twins.
Soria issued a leadoff walk to Shane Robinson and a two-out single to Joe Mauer that put runners on the corners and brought the tying run to the plate, but he struck out Trevor Plouffe to end it on a questionable outside pitch. Soria has been terrific since taking over for Joe Nathan (elbow) as the Tigers' ninth-inning man. And he should maintain high-level fantasy value all year. Apr 29 - 4:59 PM
