Shin-Soo Choo Hits for 8th Cycle in Texas Rangers History

Texas Rangers outfielder Shin-Soo Choo went off Tuesday night.

In a blowout win over the Colorado Rockies, the Korean star hit for the eighth cycle in franchise history.

And he made it look easy, too.

The 33-year-old doubled in the second inning and gave Texas its first lead of the contest. He then sent one out of the park two innings later before ripping an RBI single in the fifth.

Choo stepped to the plate in the top of the ninth inning, having gone 3-for-4 with three RBI.

Despite the fact that the game was over at that point (8-0 Rangers), Choo bombed one off the center-field wall and then chugged into the third, completing the team’s first cycle since Alex Rios in September 2013.
