Chris Sale struck out 11 in his return from a five-game suspension Tuesday, limiting the Brewers to two runs over eight innings in a 4-2 victory.
A leadoff triple by Jean Segura turned into an early run, but Sale made precious few mistakes from that point forward. The only other Brewers' run came on an Elian Herrera solo homer, as Sale allowed just three hits and a walk over his eight innings. The start was easily his best of the season after some early struggles. Sale will attempt to carry some of that momentum over into Monday's start against the Indians.
