Reports: Marlins acquire Jeff Francoeur from Braves in three-way deal

The Marlins have reportedly acquired veteran outfielder Jeff Francoeur from the Braves in a three-way trade also involving the Rangers, according to multiple reports.

Joel Sherman of the New York Post first reported the deal.

In the deal structure, the Braves will receive minor leaguer Dylan Moore from the Rangers, and the Rangers will receive international signing money from the Marlins.

Francoeur, 32, entered Wednesday hitting .249 with seven home runs and 33 RBIs. The Marlins lost Giancarlo Stanton to injury last week, potentially for the rest of the season, and add outfield depth after being tied to Carlos Gomez, who joined the Rangers this week.
