Major League Baseball suspended New York Yankees starting pitcher Domingo German for 81 games for a violation of the league's domestic violence policy, according to Yahoo Sports' Hannah Keyser.
Keyser reported the suspension is retroactive to Sept. 19, when MLB placed German on administrative leave. As a result, he will miss the first 63 games of the 2020 regular season. Keyser added the MLB Players Association isn't expected to appeal the punishment.
