The Cincinnati Reds reportedly made another move this offseason, landing starting pitcher Sonny Gray in a trade with the New York Yankees.
This comes after Jon Heyman of Fancred reported on Saturday the two teams were "finalizing" the details on a trade that would send infield prospect Shed Long and a draft pick to the Bronx Bombers. Heyman also noted the Reds were attempting to reach an agreement on a contract extension for Gray before finishing the trade.
According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, Gray is "expected" to agree to that extension since he was set to become a free agent next offseason.
