The Marlins haven’t officially announced the move.
Jennings has been with the team since 2002, and was named general manager in 2013. This season was a tumultuous one for him, as he fired manager Mike Redmond mid-season and took over behind the bench as his replacement, guiding the Marlins to a 55-69 record in his tenure.
