The Boston Red Sox are trading Christian Vazquez to the Houston Astros, according to Mark Berman of Fox 26 in Houston.
Berman reported the Red Sox will receive two minor league prospects.
Houston and Boston face off Monday night at Minute Maid Park, and Vazquez was taking batting practice when news of the trade broke.
