Bud Black will no longer be the next manager of the Washington Nationals after being insulted by the team's contract offer, reports say.
Black accepted the Nationals' managerial position last Wednesday and the two sides began exchanging contract figures shortly thereafter, according to CBS Sports. However, the Nationals gave him a "low-ball" offer that reportedly left the manager "deeply offended."

USA Today's Bob Nightengale reports that the initial offer to Black was two years for less than $2 million.
