The Tampa Bay Rays are trading third baseman Evan Longoria to the San Francisco Giants, according to multiple reports.
Longoria has five years remaining on a six-year, $100 million contract that also includes a seventh-year club option.
It was not immediately clear what the Rays would be getting in return.
The 32-year-old is a three-time All-Star who has spent his entire 10-year career with the Rays and in many ways was the face of the franchise.
He won Rookie of the Year honors in 2008 and has also earned three Gold Gloves.
