The World Series champion Houston Astros have acquired right-hander Gerrit Cole in a trade with the Pittsburgh Pirates, according to multiple reports.
In exchange, the Pirates receive pitcher Joe Musgrove and third baseman Colin Moran, per reports.
Cole went 12-12 with a 4.26 ERA while making a career-high 33 starts in 2017.
