Philadelphia Phillies shortstop Trea Turner will miss at least the next 10 days due to a strained hamstring.
The Phillies announced before Saturday's game against the San Francisco Giants that Turner has been placed on the 10-day injured list and Kody Clemens has been called up to take his spot on the 26-man roster.
The injury occurred in the fourth inning of Friday's 4-3 win over the Giants. Turner scored from second on a passed ball that hit off the glove of Patrick Bailey, but he was replaced at shortstop by Edmundo Sosa to start the top of the fifth.
