Kyle Schwarber didn't mince words after the Philadelphia Phillies' season came to an end with a 4-1 loss to the New York Mets in the National League Division Series on Wednesday night.
Speaking to reporters after the game, Schwarber said "it f--king hurts" to lose following a regular season that saw the Phillies win the NL East for the first time since 2011.
The Phillies looked like a juggernaut in the first half of the season. They went 62-34 with a plus-110 run differential before the All-Star break.
Things weren't as easy for them after the break.
