In a fairly surprising move, Philadelphia Phillies manager Rob Thomson made the decision to bench All-Star third baseman Alec Bohm for Sunday's pivotal Game 2 matchup against the New York Mets in the NLDS.
Thomson told reporters he was looking to inject some energy in the lineup so he was opting for Edmundo Sosa at third base. He'll hit seventh in the lineup.
