Pete Alonso, Mets Offense Praised By MLB Fans After NLCS G5 Win vs. Ohtani, Dodgers

The New York Mets' lineup thrived during a victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series on Friday night, winning by the final score of 12-6.

Facing a 3-1 series deficit entering the game, the Mets were able to keep their season alive.

Pete Alonso set the tone early, launching a three-run home run in the bottom of the first inning. Alonso finished 2-for-3 with a walk.

Alonso was far from the only contributor for New York, as the team finished the game with 14 hits.
