Tensions between the San Diego Padres outfielders and Los Angeles Dodgers fans boiled over on Sunday in the seventh inning of Game 2 of the National League Division Series.
After outfielder Jurickson Profar went back and forth with Dodgers fans, two baseballs were thrown from the crowd in his direction, followed by trash and other objects.
Shortly after, fans started throwing objects directed at Fernando Tatis Jr., leading to further delay.
Eventually, after an extended delay, fans stopped throwing objects, and play resumed.
