The San Diego Padres bolstered their bullpen on Sunday, acquiring reliever Jason Adam from the Tampa Bay Rays for three prospects, sources told ESPN's Jeff Passan.

The Rays acquired right-hander Dylan Lesko, outfielder Homer Bush Jr. and a third prospect in the deal, the sources told Passan. Lesko (No. 3) and Bush (No. 8) are both ranked among the top 10 prospects in the Padres' farm system, according to MLB.com.

Adam, a right-hander, joins outfielder Randy Arozarena (to the Seattle Mariners) and right-handed starter Zach Eflin (to the Baltimore Orioles) as prominent players the Rays have dealt before the trade deadline.
