The Baltimore Orioles are acquiring right-handed starter Zach Eflin from the Tampa Bay Rays, sources told ESPN's Jeff Passan.
Tampa Bay will receive three minor leaguers in return for one of the top starters available.
Eflin was 5-7 with a 4.09 ERA in 19 starts in his second season with the Rays. He joins an Orioles team that entered Friday's games tied with the Cleveland Guardians for the best record in the American League and two games ahead of the New York Yankees in the AL East.
