The Baltimore Orioles added some veteran help Wednesday by signing infielder Kolten Wong and right-hander Julio Teheran to minor league contracts.
Wong, 33, was a two-time Gold Glove second baseman with the St. Louis Cardinals, and Teheran, also 33, made two All-Star teams with the Atlanta Braves.
Both players were invited to join the Orioles for major league spring training in Sarasota, Florida.
Wong split the 2023 season with the Seattle Mariners and Los Angeles Dodgers and batted .183 with four home runs and 27 RBIs in 87 games.
