Bouncing back from an injury takes plenty of patience. For starting pitchers, the waiting game can be one of the most unbearable experiences to endure. While your team is powering through without you, some athletes harness the inevitable feeling that your spot in the rotation can be replaced. However, if your team has spiraled downhill, the rush to return to the mound can be virtually overwhelming.
