With the return of pitcher Ivan Nova, the New York Yankees knew they had a difficult decision to make. Which starter would be the odd man out and get sent to the bullpen?
That answer came early Tuesday morning in the form of right-hander Adam Warren, as first reported by the New York Daily News. After the Yankees 4-1 loss to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on Monday night, Warren told the New York Daily News that the team informed him he would not start on Wednesday. Right-hander Nathan Eovaldi will start in his place on normal rest.
