Noah Syndergaard, who did not pitch in 2024, is hoping to return to the MLB in 2025 after reportedly significant weight loss.
Syndergaard "is down to 235 pounds after losing 30 and is working his way toward a comeback," Jon Heyman reported on Thursday for the New York Post.
Syndergaard was previously reported to be around 240 pounds around his All-Star 2016 season for the New York Mets.
The 32-year-old last pitched in August 2023 for the Cleveland Guardians. Around 15 teams attended his throwing sessions last winter, according to Heyman, but he went unsigned during the 2024 season.
