Nationals' Stephen Strasburg to Be Placed on 15-Day Injured List, Will Undergo MRI

Washington Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg is headed to the 15-day injured list after experiencing discomfort during a bullpen session, manager Dave Martinez told reporters on Monday. Martinez added that the team is awaiting the results from Strasburg's MRI.

Stephen Strasburg will be going back on the IL after reporting discomfort in his bullpen session following Thursday’s start. Davey Martinez said Strasburg went for an MRI today, they’re still waiting for results. Tomorrow’s starter TBD.
