An MLB umpire had to be carted off during the New York Yankees matchup with the Colorado Rockies on Sunday after an unfortunate situation.
As Giancarlo Stanton hit a blooper to left field, his bat snapped and the barrel went behind him, hitting home plate umpire Nick Mahrley in the head and sending him to the ground. Mahrley received some brief attention before being carted off the field.
