The New York Yankees have reportedly discussed a trade for Miami Marlins star Jazz Chisholm Jr., per the New York Post's Jon Heyman.
Heyman also noted that the Seattle Mariners have also been linked to Chisholm.
"The Yankees have discussed Jazz Chisholm Jr., the Marlins' talented outfielder-turned-infielder," Heyman wrote. "The extent of the interest is unknown, but Chisholm likely would play mostly infield, a Yankees need.
"The Mariners are another possible landing spot for Chisholm."
The report comes ahead of the July 30 trade deadline as the Yankees look to bolster their roster to make a World Series run.
