The Los Angeles Dodgers have reportedly had discussions with the St. Louis Cardinals regarding utility man Tommy Edman, per The Athletic's Fabian Ardaya and Ken Rosenthal.
Edman, who can play both shortstop and centerfield, has yet to make his season debut for the Cardinals after undergoing offseason wrist surgery and spraining his ankle during his rehab.
The talks with the Dodgers come amid interest from the New York Yankees.
