After two notable deals involving contending teams on Thursday, the trade doors are open across Major League Baseball for clubs to upgrade their roster for the home stretch of the regular season.
Per The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal, the defending World Series champion Texas Rangers have played themselves back into position to buy and are keeping an eye on Yandy Díaz of the Tampa Bay Rays.
One potential surprising buyer could be the Pittsburgh Pirates, who Rosenthal notes are "scouting" Miami Marlins outfielders Jazz Chisholm Jr. and Bryan De La Cruz.
