Rumors have swirled for weeks that Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Garrett Crochet could be traded ahead of the deadline, as contenders around baseball seek an upgrade to their rotations.
Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reported Wednesday, however, that "some in the industry expect the White Sox to hold left-hander, believing that an even greater number of buyers will emerge in the offseason and that his value is greater in his additional two years of club control than in 2024."
