Japanese right-handed pitcher Ru014dki Sasaki has ruled out a handful of teams and is seemingly getting closer to making his decision.
Sasaki reportedly visited the San Diego Padres over the weekend, per Dennis Lin, Will Sammon and Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic. Before his visit to San Diego, Sasaki visited the Toronto Blue Jays.
Sasaki will be eligible to sign with a major league team on Wednesday when the international signing period opens.
