The Miami Marlins may not be done selling at the 2024 MLB Trade Deadline.
Jim Bowden of the Athletic reported that the Marlins "are close" to trading reliever Tanner Scott and are "listening" to offers centered around first baseman Josh Bell.
Jon Heyman of the New York Post reported that Miami has waived Bell, but he could remain with the team and be a trade candidate if he goes unclaimed.
This comes after the team dealt Jazz Chisholm to the New York Yankees on Saturday. Miami received three prospects in the deal and will likely look for similar returns on any trades for Scott and Bell.
