At the beginning of the season, the implementation of new rule changes dominated the conversation surrounding baseball.
There was a pitch clock for the first time ever -- probably the most controversial of all the changes, though a month into the season, a few MLB players had come to appreciate it -- and the bigger bases went viral on social media as they were compared to pizza boxes.
