MLB and Nike announced Friday that they will include larger name lettering and options for "individual pant customization" on player uniforms for the 2025 season.
In addition, Nike is "working on" matching shades of grey used on pants and jerseys, and preventing visible sweat stains from showing through jerseys, MLB said.
The Friday announcement followed "conversations with players, clubs, and their equipment managers," MLB said.
The league debuted new uniforms for the 2024 season that were designed by Nike and produced by Fanatics. Many players criticized aspects of the uniforms, including the transparency of the pants.
