Ahead of the MLB trade deadline next week, an executive believes it's time for the Toronto Blue Jays to move on from Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
Per ESPN's Jesse Rogers, the executive believes the Seattle Mariners would be a possible suitor.
"Just rip the Band-Aid off and trade Guerrero," the executive said. "The Mariners should be calling every day."
As the deadline approaches, Guerrero's future in Toronto seems very uncertain. The star first baseman has yet to receive the long-term contract he's seeking, and the two sides are reportedly "not particularly close to getting a deal done," per MLB.
