The Minnesota Twins won again yesterday pushing their record to 49-40, good enough for second best in the AL heading into the All-Star break. They have continued to exceed expectations and with the trade deadline quickly approaching, they have solidified themselves as legit contenders. Most teams that are in contention to make the playoffs around July 31st are classified as buyers, but the Twins may be a little different.
Most teams that are battling for a division title at this time of the year are looking to make a blockbuster trade to push them into the playoffs.
