Francisco Liriano used to electrify the Metrodome before his Tommy John surgery at the end of the 2006 season.
The Minnesota Twins faced off against a familiar foe last night, as Francisco Liriano took the mound for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Liriano started his career with the Twins back in 2006 and spent seven seasons with the franchise.
