Dillon Gee made his 2nd start in Las Vegas lasting only 4.1 innings giving up eight runs on 13 hits and two walks while striking out only two. John Church and Scott Rice combined to throw 3.2 scoreless out of the bullpen to keep the 51′s offense in the game but they could not take advantage going 2-12 with runners in scoring position.
Matt Reynolds returned to the lineup going 1-4 with a double, walk, and a run scored after not being in the lineup for four straight games.
