After exiting Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies with back discomfort, New York Mets star shortstop Francisco Lindor downplayed the severity of his injury.
Per Newsday's Laura Albanese, Lindor described his back injury as tightness and soreness and said, "There's no strain, everything looks good." He attributed the injury to the wear and tear of the 2024 season.
