New York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo is pushing team owner Steve Cohen and the front office to be a buyer prior to the July 30 trade deadline.
"I want to be able to have a voice in this," Nimmo told Will Sammon of The Athletic.
"I know you're not going to go my way every time but I want us to have a conversation about it. And I'll tell you what my perspective is from ground zero, down on the field. It just gives you a different perspective. The more opinions and perspectives you can get, the better a decision that can be made.
