Matt Harvey, the one they call the Dark Knight of Gotham, has become a riddle in need of a solution.
For the New York Mets, that should involve taking him off the mound. At least for a little while.
The only positive takeaway from Harvey's latest start is that he didn't get booed off the mound this time. Squaring off against the Washington Nationals at Nationals Park on Tuesday evening, the 27-year-old right-hander surrendered five runs in five innings. He walked two and gave up eight hits, three of which landed in the cheap seats.
