Texas Rangers pitcher Martin Perez is in danger of missing his next start after he suffered a small fracture in the tip of his right (non-throwing) thumb and had the nail torn off following an accident at the team's hotel.
According to the Dallas Morning News' Evan Grant, Perez was spotted with a padded splint on his thumb Friday.
Grant also spoke to club officials who said Perez's next scheduled start on Wednesday is "in jeopardy."
